USC ends the regular season Saturday against Arizona, just the second time this decade the Trojans don’t finish against UCLA or Notre Dame, their biggest rivals.
The game also comes on the heels of an emotional victory over the Bruins. Coach Pete Carroll is banking on senior day mitigating any sort of letdown.
“It’s a big deal to me to make sure our seniors are recognized,” he said. “We have to make sure that we prepare and dedicate ourselves and our efforts to those guys.”
More from the USC blog:
We are playing for a possible Holiday Bowl, with a +million payout. More importantly, the alternatives are embarrassments like the Vegas or Emerald bowls. I can’t imagine the team having a letdown. We looked terrible against UCLA, and have a lot to still play for.
Thank you seniors! Let’s see the defensive secondary and o line carry the team on thier senior shoulders.
