USC football: Trojans fans among Pac-10’s rudest

According to a fan poll conducted by SI.com, USC (12.9 percent) has the second-rudest fans in the Pac-10 Conference, trailing only Oregon (26.2).
The Trojans just can’t win at anything anymore!
Seriously, though, it’s an interesting survey on a variety of topics that can be broken down in a variety of ways.
For instance, you tell specifically how USC and UCLA fans responded to each question.
On the topic of rudest fans, UCLA ranked third (23.4 percent) behind Cal (24.6) and Oregon (23.6) among USC fans. Meanwhile, USC was an overwhelming “winner” in that category among UCLA fans at 64.7 percent.
One other notable tidbit:
The Rose Bowl is easily USC fans’ favorite Pac-10 stadium to visit (37.1 percent). Ah, memories.

Other Pac10 fans have just had enough of having to watch USC fans celebrate every time they play against USC. This poll just reflects those fans dwindling good will toward a good program.
USC Trojans football fans as a whole are not rude. I have been to some of the games. Trojans fans are not bad at all. Probably to polite if you ask me.
Geez, even USC can’t win this one. I bet Pete will blame Corp too for this one.
Who cares that UCLA fans think USC fans are the rudest - that’s a given considering that their cross town rivals.
All teams have rude fans, but a team is more likely to get votes if:
1. They have many fans, rather than few fans.
2. They have passionate fans, rather than apathetic fans.
3. They are a good team, rather than an irrelevant team.
It’s little wonder that Oregon and USC are at the top of the list, and WSU is at the bottom.
The point is simple. There is no Pro Football team in the LA/OC area so the Trojans have inherited the ridiculous Raider Nation. A dispicable squad that is rude, childish and down right ghetto! They go to games, sports bars, etc are shout obscenities, try to pick fight and even walk out on tabs regardless of it their team wins or loses.
Now with USC starting to stink up the Pac-10, it’ll be interesting to see if the raider fans become stanford cardinal, cal bear or ucla bruin fans. I’m sure the security over in Palo Alto wouldn’t know what to do if the Oakland fans invaded their stadium.

Call me a bruin fan all you want. You can’t handle the truth. My team is still undefeated and will be ripping up the Rose Bowl Turf in the BCS National Championship Game. Bet you don’t remember what that feels like. Oh you do…but it was having your HEARTLESS D back in 2005 get torn up by Texas. Vince Young made you look like a bunch of Pee Wee football players…just like Masoli and Gerhart/Luck did. Remember those images.

if your team is so great how many bcs championships have they been to in the last few years, how many conference championships have they won and how many 10 win seasons have they had in this decade? just curious, cuz you know, im sure the almighty _______ are so better than the trojans.

I have never seen a USC hater spend so much time on a USC blog as Marie/Maria.
At least my team doesn’t have 3 losses. So who’s the loser? Good luck trying to get to the Holiday Bowl! You won’t even make the Emerald, Vegas or Sun Bowl. You’ll be home watching all the other team with HEART playing this season.
Dude, I’m not a USC hater. I’m just pointing out the realistic side of the team which you Trojan Nation faithfuls can’t see. Your team has absolutely NO HEART and has NO IDENTITY. After his 8th season, the players aren’t drinking the juice anymore. He blew the team chemistry when he screwed over Corp. He can no longer be trusted. With good ol’ Petey throwing them off in the early season, it only took a matter of time for it to show up in their work ethic on the field. Against UO and Stanford, they didn’t know who to tackle, they rarely knew who had the ball and they got SPANKED.
Petey always said it was the #1 Guys job, even if they get injured. Booty kept his job. Why did Corp get thrown under the bus? Because Petey is a hyprcrite! Corp is a good kid. They threw him in against UW with a game plan unsuited for his scrambling skills. Did you notice his best passes were when he was out of the pocket. But did “Normal” Bates and Pete let it continue? Not a chance, otherwise he’d have to hear chants that his new Son Barkley should sit the bench. And you can’t tell me Mustain isn’t more seasoned than Bark. C’mon! Get real. You need to stop being delusional as well.
The season is over, give the other QBs a chance. Quit playing favorites Pete! I know Mitch or Aaron can beat ucla and AZ. It’s just a shame you won’t get to see it.
Can’t wait for the practice reports this week. Bark will still be off but Petey will protect his Golden Boy. Did you know that when Clausen was struggling, Weis sat him. Let the kid observe…let the get become hungry for the job. Pete, on the otherhand, keeps spoon feeding this Golden Boy so he’s not learning anything. Only that the more INTs thrown, the more reps I’ll get because my new Daddy Pete will want me to get more practice in.

Still you say the same stuff over and over, I don’t think you really have a team it’s just who is undefeated. You are a banwagoner, that you are so I to the REST OF THE USC BLOG since she hasn’t proclaimed her team she should not be able to claim one in the end.
Maria, your point about the quarterback situation is right on the head. PC screwed up Corp and Mustain because he fell in love with the blond MB and his arm. Now, some recruits are wondering if they’ll get the same treatment from PC and may decide to go else where. Yup, PC sure screwed up big time.
I don’t know why Lev and the OC register doesn’t ban that troll’s ip. All she (Maria-Marie or whatever it calls itself) does every day is to write the same anti USC diatribe. It sure gets boring after a while.

First off let me say this. I am a UCLA alumni and I love to bag on USC. It is my right and I would expect you guys to do the same to us. That is what makes it fun this time of year. Marie or Maria you really shouldn’t keep pretending you have a team and not claim them. It is just not right. I mean come on be a real fan if you like Alabama then great say it, but waiting until the dance is over and then saying oh I loved whatever BCS title winner is totally lame.
That all being said people think I shouldn’t come on the USC blogs and bag on USC. Why not? I hate USC and it is fun to piss you guys off. I mean what would be the point of bagging on USC on a UCLA blog just to have a bunch of people agree with me.
Lastly, I will say alot of things about USC fans. But I would not call USC fans ghetto. I mean that is just plain racist. USC fans are idiots and over privelaged blow hards, sure. But ghetto come on. Sure USC Pete Carroll is a moron who believes his press clippings and spends too much time trying to be cool and not enough time actually coaching, now that is acceptable but not Ghetto. Sure Matt Barkley is the most over rated player since Tony Mandarich went to the NFL. But Ghetto no. Sure USC’s defense can’t tackle and is sucking wind by mid way through the 3rd quarter every week, but I would not call them ghetto. That would be racist. I just want to get that straight.

Mr. Thomas is actually entertaining to read. Fantasy can be that way. But “Marie” and “Maria” are both just plain boring, because it is always the same, always off-topic, and always senseless. Love how you take “Ghetto” out of context and try to say someone is racist. You know what, I’ve been to several USC football games since the Raiders left town and you know what I saw each and every game? A fight. Some punks causing trouble constantly picking fights. For what? Because their Raiders left town so they jump on the next teams bandwagon then made games uncomfortable for other people.
Here’s a great example, two years ago I saw some MORON with an OJ Simpson jersey push over a lady in ther late 50s as everyone was slowly walking up the stairs to exit the Coliseum. When her son who was 15 at the oldest tried to defend her by telling the guy to quit pushing his Mom, the 275 lbs+ thug started pounding on this little teenager.
I’ve seen your fans throw food at opposing fans just because they wer wearing the opposing teams colors. Cussing opposing fans out that were just trying to watch the game. Nothing but displaced Raider fans.
