USC forward Kasey Cunningham, who has been plagued by knee problems throughout his career, suffered a sprained left knee about five minutes into the second half of the Trojans’ game vs. Loyola Marymount tonight.
Cunningham has had three ACL surgeries on his left knee and was wearing a brace when the injury occurred.
He’s watching the rest of the second half with the knee wrapped in ice.

This is a sad story. The kid had so much promise. Hopefully it isn’t serious and he can return. Must’ve been tough to watch his team blow a 12 point second half lead only to get beaten to a lowly school. Then again, I guess the basketball team is used to it.
