USC football: ASU’s Erickson braces for ’scary’ Trojans

A reporter asked Arizona State coach Dennis Erickson how losing to Oregon would affect USC’s attitude coming into Sun Devil Stadium.
The first word out of Erickson’s mouth: “Scary.”
Here’s the rest of what he said:
“Those things happen, and they’re still a great football team and a great program. A lot of teams have gone up to Oregon and had that happen; things just start rolling on you, and it’s tough. But that program isn’t where it’s at by not coming back and fighting like heck.
“They’ll come in here and play their best game. Pete (Carroll) will have them ready to go. They react pretty well when they get beat.”
USC has not lost consecutive games since 2001, Carroll’s first season.

We had so may firsts this season. I hope the Oregon game will be the last. Fight on!
I suppose this is designed to make us feel better about what happened on Halloween. For me, it’s not working…
I hope Erickson is right. Lets hope USC send the Devils back to hell!
On another note, Erickson has his own problems at ASU. They are probably close to getting rid of him.
I would add…a little mad! Hopefully we can get by with all the injuries.
Wow, this is my first time actually reading the comments because the OC Freedomblog articles are very informative and to the point. Just clicked out of curiosity and I can already tell who the trolls are. You people are all the same and can be found on any team’s sports blog besides your OWN. You troll around taking shots at people’s teams when they are down because you feel some sick joy out of it that fills a void caused by past offenses.
