Tight end Anthony McCoy (ankle), receiver Travon Patterson (ankle) and receiver David Ausberry (calf) did not make the trip to Eugene for USC’s game against Oregon on Saturday.

That leaves the Trojans a little thinner than usual at those spots and will lead to meaningful playing time for Blake Ayles and Brandon Carswell, among others.

Fullback Stanley Havili (shoulder) did make the trip and is expected to be available should replacement D.J. Shoemate get hurt.
