POLL: IS IT WRONG TO MOVE THE ROSE BOWL?
USC’s DeMar DeRozan is scheduled to be among the 15 players available to the media today and in attendance Thursday in New York for the 2009 NBA draft.
Whether DeRozan ends up in New York, with the Knicks, is TBD. ESPN.com draft guru Chad Ford has DeRozan going ninth to Toronto, whose winters might make DeRozan wish he had stayed at USC another year. (Then again, he can always burn money to keep warm.)
Here’s the complete list of NYC invitees, which also includes UCLA’s Jrue Holiday:
- Stephen Curry (Davidson)
- Austin Daye (Gonzaga)
- DeMar DeRozan (USC)
- Tyreke Evans (Memphis)
- Jonny Flynn (Syracuse)
- Blake Griffin (Oklahoma)
- Tyler Hansbrough (North Carolina)
- James Harden (Arizona State)
- Gerald Henderson (Duke)
- Jordan Hill (Arizona)
- Jrue Holiday (UCLA)
- Brandon Jennings (Lottomatica Virtus Roma, Italy)
- Ricky Rubio (DKV Joventut Badalona, Spain)
- Hasheem Thabeet (UConn)
- Terrence Williams (Louisville)
