**Fullback Stanley Havili said he re-sprained his left ankle and sprained his right ankle on the same play against Notre Dame. Carroll said he expects Havili, who was in a boot Monday, to play Saturday.
**Right tackle Nick Howell, also in a boot after spraining his left ankle against Notre Dame, said doctors told him his injury could keep him out for three-to-four weeks but that he will try to play Saturday.
**Running back Stafon Johnson (thigh) did not practice but said he will return Tuesday.
**Carroll said safety Kevin Ellison (knee) might also practice Tuesday.
